The Invacare Birdie Evo has been designed to offer a high feature-set of options that have been blended with new technologies to provide maximum comfort and security when lifting or transferring a patient to or from a bed, chair or even the floor.
Based on the renowned Birdie, the new range has been customer insight led, encompassing everything that was valued on the Birdie whilst bringing in new features to further enhance the client and carer experience.
This electric hoist is designed for maximum convenience for both the operator and the patient in the sling, they offer a folding format that can be carried out easily by one person without tools with the hoist dismantling into two parts for easier transportation and convenient storage.
At all height levels this hoist allows 360 rotation, providing a very comfortable movefor the patient. This freedom of rotation means the patient can be easily rotated whilst in the lift allowing easy placement into the bed, wheelchair or chair. The compact design of the hoist ensures space is optimised and there is very low risk of injury.
The hoist can be folded or unfolded easily without the need for tools, therefore the Birdie requires avery small storage space and is easy to push and transport. If required the mast and boom can be detached from the main unit, instructions on how to do this are available here
T?V certification ensures total security due to the hoists snap lock system to minimise the risk of accidents. The Birdie Compact is CE certified in line with the Medical Service Directive 93/42/ECC. The Birdie complies with EN ISO 10535.
The hoist can be configured to suit the user’s individual needs with a range of spreader bars and a comfortable sling allowing maximum flexibility.
